Our mission is simple: PBZ will empower BIPOC entrepreneurs with a focus on women business owners to succeed through but not limited to mentoring, skills building, networking, and providing resources. It is our belief that these women are critical to the growth of all of civilization and as such must be empowered to set their own destiny in support of their communities.

Terrez Marriott Thompson, Founder and Chair of Powered By Zerret, Inc. PBZ is a nonprofit focused on the empowerment of women of color entrepreneurs by providing development and financial resources. PBZ believes that true empowerment comes from economic self-sufficiency.
PBZ has provided nearly $100,000 in grants since its inception in Spring 2021.
Thompson is a public speaker and has presented to corporations and nonprofits interested in expanding their Supplier Diversity and broad Diversity programs and goals. She was also featured in Harvard Business Review on the value of Diversity in corporate Supply Chains. Through her consultant firm TMT Global Services, LLC., she provides advice and guidance on these subjects.
Terrez is a retired 35-year executive of The Coca-Cola Company. Serving as Vice President of Global Supplier Diversity and roles in Finance and Operations.
A nonpracticing CPA, graduating from Morgan State University ‘81. She serves on for/non-profit boards. Other memberships include Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated and The Links, Incorporated. Terrez is the proud wife of Rodney and mom to Summer and Chanel, their very friendly Pitbull.

For over 25 years, Sally M. Davis has been driving organizational growth, programs, and enhancements in the education, human resources and non-profit spheres. She is the strategist organizations look for results. Her proven methodology for revitalizing the policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives at organizations is rooted in her life’s mission – to enrich people’s lives with access to equitable opportunities.
Nonprofits rely on Davis to propel fundraising opportunities into quantifiable support, ranging from $1M to $300M in successful campaigns. She leads clients and teams with passion and a keen ability to leverage alliances and partnerships by building meaningful and strategic relationships that lead to profit and sustainable support. Her laser-like focus and agile mind resolve issues, restructure organizations, direct talent acquisition, and develop a personable and solid remote or in-person workforce ready to tackle challenges collaboratively to achieve goals.
As a C-suite executive in the nonprofit and corporate worlds, Davis’ roles include as the Managing Director of Foundations Relations of Feeding America, VP of Foundations and Major Gifts of the Boys & Girls Club of America, CEO of Big Brother Big Sisters of Central Indiana, VP of Executive Talent Acquisition & Chief Diversity Officer of Mercy Health, Eli Lilly- Global Diversity & Business Development, HR Business Partner of Mass Mutual and Global Diversity Officer of Engine Company.
Davis has been a member of numerous boards, including Hillside, High Museum of Art, Corporate & Development and in the Board of Trustees at Drake University. She holds a Master of Science in Counseling and Personnel and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Speech Communications from Drake University, Des Moines, IA.
Ketty Poletto
Ketty Poletto has more than 16 years in Procurement, Sustainability and Marketing Operations experience. She is currently leading Business Services Procurement at Unilever and prior to Unilever she spent more than six years at the Coca-Cola Company in a variety of roles in both direct (Ingredients and Packaging), MBS and Sustainability. Prior to Coca-Cola Ketty spent nearly a decade in strategic sourcing at Procter & Gamble, where she held global positions in Marketing procurement, raw materials and packaging procurement. Ketty received multiple innovations awards and recognitions during her tenure at P&G and The Coca-Cola Company.
In her private time Ketty loves spending time mentoring others, reading, exercising and spending time with her two boys. She is an active supporter of diversity and inclusion and her purpose is to be an inspiration to others as a strong, caring and courageous woman leader while doing good for others and the environment.
